George Bendezu is a man of vision, dedication, devotion. And his soul is the horse; the Peruvian Paso Horse. This is who and what George is all about. George, fondly known as GRILLO, has always had a passion for horses and now more than ever. As a young man, he was raised by Pepe Risso Matellini, a man deeply respected as one of the finest Peruvian Paso breeders of all time. Because of his upbringing, George had the privilege of knowing and learning from the old breeders that most only are able to read about in books that chronicle this breed. His hands-on training was from two highly respected Maestros of their day: Pedro Torres and Alfredo Leon. His opportunity to learn from the most knowledgeable in the breed was not just given to anyone; one had to earn the right to learn from the best.
After attending two years of college in Peru, major in Law, George had the opportunity given to him to continue his education in the Untied States. As a young boy , it was always his dream to obtain a Law DEGREE from a famous college like UCLA or HARVARD. But his heart was and still is the Peruvian horse. So he took his time with college and started his training center, and soon the LAW DEGREE was put on the back burner. He became very sought after as a trainer, and his training stable grew very fast, no time for his LAW DEGREE. He was to busy utilizing his training talent, creating wonderfully trained Peruvian horses for his clients from all over Central & South America & the U.S. To this day he's still in demand, Here in the Mid-West and the America's, more so today then back 20 years ago. Many of George's clients have asked him over the years, what are the limits of his training?? His answer was and still is, THERE ARE NO LIMITS TO MY TRAINING. NEVER PUT LIMITATIONS ON YOURSELF, FOR YOU'LL NOT GROW. George has never stopped growing over the years. George is a judge with AAOBPPH & PPHRNA as, He has become a Respected Judge with NAPHA, THE NEW registry. Other gaited breeds are seeking George Bendezu to be come involved in their breed as a judge.
But the LAW DEGREE IS ON AGAIN. He's back in college. And his time is limited for training, which makes his waiting list much longer, but that hasn't slowed him down any, he has more to offer, more stalls and daylight, he has very delighted, satisfied, happy, clients and he's able to accommodate everyone so far.
